The charming town of Ladysmith is a vibrant, family-oriented community, with a population of over 8,500. Home to laid back professionals, retirees as well as young families, it is also a valued destination for visitors. Centrally located on beautiful Vancouver Island, BC, it is set on a hillside and presents superb ocean views.
The vintage Edwardian buildings in which many of the businesses of Downtown Ladysmith are located, convey a unique character to the area, making it a treasured touristic attraction.
The town is known for its quality of life and offers plenty of services and amenities, ranging from a health centre, a community centre, boutiques, restaurants, speciality shops, cafes, bakeries, a library, and more. Outdoor enthusiasts enjoy the many walking trails and watersports opportunities in and around the area.
