Ladysmith and four other local Rotary club branches hosted “An Evening with Local Legends” to fundraise for the Rotary Gardens at Cowichan Hospice House. The event was held September 7th 2019 at the Playbill Lounge in the Chemainus Theatre. Musical guests included: Ryan McMahon, Ray Materick, Crazy Still, and Beatlemania Unplugged. There were casino-like games of chance where gamblers won lucky-dollars to spend on prizes and silent auction items.
